I was watching The Daily Show the other night and he did a hilarious parody of Faux News' story about the similarity between the nuclear summit logo and the Muslim crescent moon symbol. Fuks News had stated that some think Obama is reaching out to his comrades in the Muslim world. Then last night I watched Hardball and Chris was covering the recent NYT poll of tea partiers.

No suprise to me and I think we've all seen the racist imagery from various tea party gatherings. So I decided to check out the tea party patriots web site to see what it's all about. http://www.teapartypatriots.org/
I was instantly struck by the logo on the banner at the top of the main page. The logo is a shield, a shield very similar to that used by the KKK in numerous photos I found on the internet.
Could the tea party be reaching out to their comrades in the KKK or is it just a coincidence?
